Join millions of people worldwide who have
discovered the ancient Chinese Martial Art which promotes health and harmony of the body and mind....
Tai Chi Chuan
T’ai Chi
Chuan,
one of China’s
greatest art forms, has survived for centuries because its
essence is as gentle, soft and flowing as life itself.
Today, it is practiced by millions of people throughout the
world. Its therapeutic benefits—for young and old alike—are
legendary.
What is
T’ai Chi Chuan?
Veiled in
secrecy for centuries, T’ai Chi Chuan (also known as Taiji) is
an ancient Chinese “internal” martial art that combines relaxed,
flowing movements with a calm, alert mental state.
Am I too
old or out of shape to begin T’ai Chi Chuan?
People of all
ages, shapes and sizes practice T’ai Chi Chuan every day. Its
exercises are gentle sets of poses, each flowing softly into the
next, often reflecting the graceful movements of birds and other
animals.
What are
the benefits of T’ai Chi Chuan?
T’ai Chi
Chuan’s gentle, soft rhythmic gestures develop healthy breathing
patterns and relaxation techniques that reduce stress and
improve posture, balance, strength, flexibility and
coordination.
Tell me more.
Ancient Chinese medicine teaches how the relationship of
thoughts and emotions directly affect health. All things that
flow through our minds and bodies influence our “Chi” or “Life
Energy.” The practice of T’ai Chi Chuan helps keep our “Life
Energy” in proper balance, and the result is improved health and
well-being.
How can
T’ai Chi Chuan improve my health?
T’ai Chi Chuan
used healing exercises, self-massage, healthy breathing
techniques and meditations to improve health and harmony of both
body and mind. It can reduce pain, stress and anxiety as well as
boost the immune system and aid cardiovascular and respiratory
functions.
